How to Order a Repeat Prescription
If the doctor has prescribed regular medication then you can order a repeat prescription. If you are a new patient you will need to speak to the doctor first, so that your prescription can be added to our records.
You can order your repeat medication through the following methods:
- Complete the right hand side of your previous prescription
- Write out your request on the correct form in reception and post it, or deliver your request to the reception counter
- using Patient Access
- via the NHS App
- by filling out our online form
Repeat Prescriptions - 48 Hour Policy
You can request your repeat medication by indicating the items you require on the tear-off slip of your prescription, and posting it to us or handing it in at the practice reception.
If you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope we will post your prescription to you.
Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription via emis access by simply registering for the service and filling in the details appropriately in repeat prescriptions section.
Please allow 48 hours for your prescription request to be processed.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
If you have received a letter from us regarding blood test or medication review but if you haven’t been seen then your prescription request will not be dealt with.
