Island Advice

Island Advice Centre works within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets helping residents secure their statutory and legal rights, enabling them to improve their living standards and quality of life. Access to advice and advocacy is the core work of the organisation, helping people to stay above the poverty line, reduce stress and empower them to deal with their situations.

Island House Community Centre

Island House is a community hub offering free services to the local community and wider Tower Hamlets area. We are a registered charity and community project established by the United Reformed Church in 1972. We offer free training in adult education, digital skill development and health & wellbeing, supporting and empowering hundreds of residents in and around the Isle of Dogs area.

Royal Foundation of St. Katherine's Yurt Cafe

Book club, gardening, writing group, knitting and more.

Their aim is to create an affordable café offering locally sourced food and a great atmosphere to connect with others. Any profits we make from the Yurt café goes towards providing activities for the local community.

Spotlight is your youth space to be yourself, rest, relax and have fun.

Spotlight is a Safe Space for everyone – no worry, no stress. Everyone agrees to ‘Your Space, Your Rules.’ 

Spaces on programmes are fully funded and open to all aged 11 to 19, and up to 25 with SEND.

Half Moon Theatre

After school free drama clubs.

Why not join one of Half Moon’s Youth Theatre groups? It’s a brilliant way to explore drama, create performances and make lots of new friends at the same time. We have eight groups for 5 to 18 year-olds in East London interested in theatre that run during term time.

The Limehouse Project (LHP) is a registered charity (no. 295857) that has worked to respond to the needs of minority communities throughout the London Borough of Tower Hamlets for over 30 years. Move and stretch

Free female exercise classes.

This programme is open to females aged 18 and over from diverse ethnic background living, working, and studying in Tower Hamlets. Sessions will improve fitness and activity levels in weekly in-person group exercise class, led by qualified fitness instructor Laura Williams.
